Quivr
Designed and shipped the protocol from scratch, then re-platformed Polygon → Solana mid-flight.
Quivr was an AI-driven data verification protocol that helped brands identify their most authentic fans. Launched on Polygon, migrated to Solana for compressed NFTs. Ran out of runway in April 2024.

What's the challenge?
Novel concept: on-chain fan identity verified by AI. Zero blockchain infrastructure to start with. Full protocol to design, build, and ship from scratch. Mid-engagement the client pivoted from Polygon to Solana for compressed NFTs, so the whole on-chain stack had to be rebuilt without breaking what shipped.
Year one was EVM. Year two was Solana. We rewrote the protocol mid-flight.
Year one shipped on Polygon. EVM, familiar tooling, contracts in production. Then the market shifted and the client called Solana. Different VM, different programming model, full rewrite. We migrated capability by capability, kept the EVM stack live while the Solana side caught up. Tough call, right call.
What We Did
Owned the full blockchain stack. Designed and built the protocol on Polygon, with Account Abstraction so non-crypto-native users could onboard. When the client picked Solana for compressed NFTs, we led the migration. EVM-specific logic stayed behind a clean boundary so the rewrite never touched the rest of the system. Ran dual-stack during the cutover. Two working chains, no growth stall.
Outcomes
Client Voice
Built multiple venture-backed startups with Wavect over 4 years. World class team. They're great thought partners while in discovery, reliable and predictable engineers while in dev, and just generally great guys to work with. Highly highly recommend you work with this team for your next project.
What We Learned
When a startup runs out of money, the tech usually still worked. Quivr died on runway, not product. Challenge fundraising assumptions early, design for the minimum viable chain. Multi-chain complexity is scope a seed-stage startup rarely needs.
